About the Author

Lee Meitzen Grue is the author of various volumes of poetry as well as a collection of New Orleans stories. In 1984, she received an NEA grant for fiction and a PEN Syndicated Fiction Prize. In 2000, her  spoken word CD, On Frenchmen Street, was released.
